Computer Buying Project

Choosing a new laptop may seem like an easy decision, but in reality there are so many things to take into consideration when spending that much money on something. For my Computer Buying Process project I debated between a Mac and a Dell and finally settled on buying the Mac. I chose the Mac for four reasons which were that Mac has more memory options, its lighter in weight, contains more popular software and it has an HD camera. Having options for how much memory I want in a computer is helpful because if I don't need as much memory then buying the computer may be cheaper. Also,having a lighter laptop helps making transporting the laptop easier. I'm going to be using the laptop for mostly school work. I don't want to be lugging a heavy computer around from class to class. Mac's contain more familiar software which is good for someone like me who isn't very good with computers. It contains software that I have grown up using which makes things a lot easier. Lastly, Mac's have HD cameras built into their laptops. This is a cool feature to have especially if you are trying to Skype someone or just make a video project on your laptop.Overall, I think the Mac computer is a better fit for me.
